In response to comments and questions expressed by church leadership,

below is a growing list of ideas on how this prayer resource

might be introduced and its use encouraged in the local church.

1.  In  Eph. 6:19, Paul unabashedly implores the church at Ephesus, "...pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,...".   This may serve as a wonderful template for some pastors to introduce this prayer resource to their congregations.

2. Have a member of the church leadership team make a brief presentation on how to use this prayer resource booklet, explain the need and importance of this prayer focus, and convey the joy and power that comes from a church family united in prayer.

A mature, passionate church member could make an equally effective presentation.

3.  Printing, stapling and folding takes time!  Rather than assigning the assembling of this booklet to the BUSY church secretary,  bless  a couple of church  members with a wonderful opportunity to serve their pastor, leadership and church body.

4. It would be a lovely part of welcoming new members into your church family to give them each a copy of the booklet, gratefully acknowledging how much their prayers are valued.

5.  Include a link to this resource on your church's website as another way to create easy access, emphasize its importance, and encourage congregants to use it.

6.  Available copies conveniently placed in the narthex or on information tables may help to create awareness and encourage interest.

7. Have all church leadership prepared to encourage the booklet's use and be able to answer questions.

8.  If possible, all members should be given a church-produced copy of the booklet.  If this is not possible, copies should be made available to those people who do not have the ability to produce it on their own.

9.  Introduce the booklet, encourage its use, and share the prayer resource website in your church newsletter.

10.  Occasional references to the use of the booklet by the pastor - expressions of gratitude, asking for a scripture to be added, a positive report, etc. - will help keep the importance of this prayer resource alive and well as  help people develop the habit of praying through these scriptures.

11.  People appreciate being enthusiastically invited to be a valued part of a God-honoring team effort.

12.  Send a booklet to those who are home-bound along with an encouraging note which affirms that they are missed and that their prayers are highly valued.

13.  Share the website, booklet information, words of encouragement, and reviews on far-reaching social media platforms.
